In order to offer a unique experience to its guests, Home Inn Rome has chosen to enrich the apartments with original fine art prints, depicting Rome through both its architecture and cuisine.
The bedrooms in each of the two flats are decorated with original photograph showcasing four styles of architecture that characterize Rome in different ways based on age and features: the Colosseo, a symbol of the ancient history of the eternal city; the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana that illustrates a modern face of Rome; the industrial Gasometro, an industrial jewel located in one of the hip neighborhoods of the hectic Roman nightlife; and finally the Auditorium Parco della Musica, a contemporary work by the archistar Renzo Piano.
To tickle your appetite, kitchens are decorated with prints representing the main ingredients of two dishes of Italian and Roman culinary tradition. In the Deluxe Apartment you will find “Pasta asciutta” shown through macro photographs of Spaghetti, tomato, onion and basil; in the Comfort Apartment macro photogaphs of pasta, pecorino cheese and pepper portray the famous “Cacio e pepe” through macro photographs of pasta, pecorino cheese and pepper.
You can buy smaller versions of these prints as a cool souvenir of your Roman holiday. Just ask Mattia!
The photo project has been conceived by Filippo, Mattia’s business partner and designer of the Home Inn Rome apartments, and photographers Daniele Di Pietro and Michael Czech (necessitafotografica.com).
